YUNGBLUD Releases Live Recording Of BLACK SABBATH Cover “Changes” From Back To The Beginning Performance –Proceeds Going To Charity

Yungblud‘s cover of “Changes” framed him in a completely new light for tens, if not hundreds, of thousands of people during Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne‘s last performance at Back To The Beginning.

The career highlight for the young performer was not only due to the honour of being asked to perform at Ozzy Osbourne‘s last show, but also because of the performance that Yungblud gave of the beloved single.

Yungblud‘s voice travelled for miles, the microphone far from his mouth as he belted with everything he had. His vocal delivery truly showed what he was capable of, with people reiterating the same sentiments: they weren’t a fan of Yungblud, but it was a fantastic moment to witness.

So, with Ozzy‘s permission, Yungblud has released “Changes (Live From Villa Park / Back To The Beginning)” on streaming platforms.

However, yesterday afternoon, Yungblud took to his Instagram stories to let fans know that every stream, view, and purchase and “every single penny” generated from that would be donated straight to charity.

Acorns Children’s Hospice appears to be one charity that Yungblud will be donating proceeds to as they shared their gratitude for his help online.

Yet, “Changes” is far from the beginning of Dominic Harrison (Yungblud) and The Osbournes‘ relationship. Apparently, Sharon and Ozzy took Yungblud under their wing several years ago, offering life and career advice – sort of becoming parental figures to Yungblud in the industry – even appearing in Yungblud‘s “The Funeral” music video.

Harrison has talked about his relationships with the Osbournes on numerous occasions to publications like NME and Billboard, so it truly does make his rendition of the song so much sweeter.

Young or old, people can agree that it was a beautiful cover and an emotional tribute to Ozzy.

You can now find Yungblud‘s cover of “Changes” from Back To The Beginning here.
