Tony Award-winning Oh, Mary! to transfer to the West End

Broadway sensation Oh, Mary! is making its highly anticipated transfer to London’s West End this December.

The Tony Award-winning play will open at Trafalgar Theatre on December 3 and is currently booking until April 25, 2026. Written by Cole Escola and directed by Sam Pinkleton, Oh, Mary! is a dark comedy play which tells the story of Mary Todd Lincoln, a bored alcoholic wife who longs to return to the stage as a cabaret star, but instead is constantly undermined by her homosexual husband, who just happens to be Abraham Lincoln, the President of the United States.

Taking on the role of Mary Todd Lincoln will be theatre sensation Mason Alexander Park, who has dazzled the West End with a star turn as the Emcee in Cabaret, as well as starring in two Jamie Lloyd productions: Ariel in The Tempest, and Margaret in Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing.

Mason will be joined by Kate O’Donnell as Mary’s Chaperone, Oliver Stockley as Mary’s Husband’s Assistant, with Dino Fetscher as Mary’s Teacher and Giles Terera as Mary’s Husband.

Oh, Mary! first opened on Broadway in July 2024 at the Lyceum Theatre, and became the first show of the 2024/25 Broadway season to recoup its investment. The show was nominated for five Tony Awards, winning Best Direction of a Play as well as Best Actor in a Play for Cole Escola, the first non-binary winner in the category.

Tickets for Oh, Mary! are available now.
