With the documentary’s official soundtrack available digitally today, the collection will be released on 2LP and CD on October 24.

It features a mix of the band’s biggest hits, fan favourites, never-before-heard demos, and the previously unreleased track.

Speaking on the release of ‘The Kids In The Crowd’, drummer Chuck Comeau has shared:

“We’re so excited for our fans to finally be able to watch this documentary. Working on it has been such an emotional rollercoaster as we got to relive our own story, from playing in our parents’ basement to performing sold out shows all over the world, and everything it took to get there. We hope our fans will enjoy it and be inspired to follow their own dreams.

We’re also thrilled to share ‘Nothing Changes’, a brand new song and video inspired by the documentary and the past 25 years and marking the next chapter in our musical journey.”

Chronicling the formation of the band in Montreal in the late 1990s, ‘The Kids In The Crowd’ follows their rise to global stardom and the creation of hits like ‘Welcome To My Life’, ‘I’d Do Anything’, and ‘Perfect’.

Featuring never-before-seen archival footage as well as new interviews with the band’s members, it also includes contributions from scene legends including Mark Hoppus (Blink-182), Avril Lavigne, Noodles (The Offspring) and Fat Mike (NOFX).

Simple Plan will join The Offspring for a huge run of UK arena shows this winter.
