Reality TV star Sandy Gallagher hasn’t had the easiest time on Netflix dating shows. Her journey on the third iteration of The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On was a bit challenging, but she pushed through. Now, on Season 3 of Perfect Match, things seem to be on the up and up. Through six episodes, Sandy and Louis Russell have been one of the consistent couples in the villa. We’ve been rooting for them! However, it appears that whether they win this game or not, Louis has moved on.
Over the weekend, the Internet was abuzz with news that Louis was spotted holding hands and coordinating outfits with Love Island‘s breakout bombshell Huda Mustafa at the premiere of Weapons. Though there has been some trouble in paradise for Louis and Sandy during Perfect Match, they seem to be working through it for the greater good of their relationship and the game. But with the news breaking of this scandalous red carpet meet-up, is this a spoiler of what might come later in this season of Perfect Match?
Sandy Found a Promising Connection With Louis on ‘Perfect Match’ Season 3
Sandy had a tough go during The Ultimatum, with many people hoping she’d be able to find love somehow. Taking a stab at it on Perfect Match, a newfound, refreshing side of Sandy emerged. She found a match in Louis, and the two seemed to be destined for a strong journey together. Louis, known for his flirtatious ways on both Too Hot to Handle and Battle Camp, seemed eager to go all in with Sandy. There were certainly moments of jealousy on both their parts, but her chats with Love Island‘s Carrington Rodriguez and his with Temptation Island‘s Alex Zamora didn’t break them apart. (Though when Alex floated the idea of a throuple with Louis, he didn’t say no.)
Louis has been one to enjoy new shiny objects, which has had Sandy concerned. Her frustration and concern caused him to react, which led to their moment of strife, but the fact that they were able to overcome this adversity makes us believe things could work out for the couple. They enjoy their connection and have been vocal about the fact that they want to make it work. If the kissing challenge means anything, they both enjoy the physical part of their connection as well. As Sandy shared, “The past few days have really opened my eyes to what I have with Louis. I’m catching feelings, and they’re just getting stronger and stronger.” Well, this does not bode well for what we’ve seen in the real world.
Louis Russell Going Out With ‘Love Island’s Huda Spoils This Season of ‘Perfect Match’
Whether they last or not in the villa seems redundant, as Louis has now stepped out with Love Island’s Huda. How can we watch our shows if the stars are spoiling the outcome?! There were certainly moments in the teaser that led us to believe things might get worse for the pair, but we know reality television shows love to give a red herring. However, whether Louis spoiled the outcome of his and Sandy’s relationship or not, it seems that his costar, Rachel Recchia, is confirming that it’s not going to be a happy ending for the two.
While appearing on The Viall Files, Recchia shared how disappointed she was at Louis’ appearance with Huda. “It’s literally airing — we have what, maybe two weeks. It feels, like, a little selfish,” Rachel explained. “It affects the whole cast.” The former Bachelor star is still active in the game herself, so her speaking on the incident pretty much confirms the spoiler. “Sandy and him have such a good connection on the show. Now people are kinda seeing things like, ‘Oh, what’s going on now?'”
Though we may not know about the specific timing of the shows, it should be noted that love found its way into Battle Camp as Louis also found a romance with his former co-star, Bri Balram. As he told Collider, “It’s just so intense in there that it can build, you know, romance.” Perhaps Sandy was right in her assessment: Louis likes shiny new things. But that does not mean he should go out and spoil the results prematurely. Regardless of what happens next, we have to be Team Sandy. After everything she’s been through, she deserves a sweet conclusion!
