My Chemical Romance frontman Gerard Way has teamed up with members of The Interrupters for a new musical project.

Gauzy Records are teasing the release of ‘I Wanna Know Your Name’ by The Mock-Ups, featuring Gerard on vocals and bass, Aimee Interrupter on backing vocals, Kevin Bivona on keys and production, Jesse Bivona on drums and Michael Schulz on guitar. Engineering on the track was done by Doug McKean, a longtime collaborator of MCR who passed away in 2022.

My Chem just wrapped up their ‘Long Live…The Black Parade’ stadium tour of the US, performing the classic album in its entirety. The show will hit the UK for two shows at London’s Wembley Stadium next July.
The Interrupters meanwhile will next be seen at the Punk In The Park festival in Los Angeles next month before heading to Orlando, Florida for Warped Tour in November.
