The Warner Bros. horror film, directed by Zach Cregger, earned $18.15 million on Friday, $14 million on Saturday, and $10.35 million on Sunday. Premium formats accounted for a significant share, with IMAX generating $8.1 million globally, including $6.2 million from North America. CinemaScore audiences graded the film A-.

Fantastic Four has another steep drop as Freakier Friday starts strong
Freakier Friday debuted in second place with $29 million domestic from 3,975 theaters and $15.5 million internationally. This gave it a $44.5 million global opening. (via Box Office Mojo)
The Disney comedy sequel to 2003’s Freaky Friday stars Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis. It earned $12.7 million on Friday, $9.1 million on Saturday, and $7.2 million on Sunday. Audience turnout was 71% female, with 47% over the age of 25. The film received an A CinemaScore.
The Fantastic Four: First Steps dropped to third place in its third weekend with $15.5 million, a 59.9% decline. Its domestic total reached $230.4 million, with a worldwide gross of $434.2 million (via Box Office Mojo). It played in 3,600 theaters, down 525 from the previous weekend.
Julia Garner appeared in both Weapons and The Fantastic Four: First Steps. This gave her roles in two of the top three films at the box office.
