Universal Studios Hollywood Halloween Horror Nights Complete 2025 Lineup

Universal Studios Hollywood has completed its 2025 Halloween Horror Nights lineup with the announcement of additional scares inspired by Poltergeist, The Purge and Blumhouse.

The Poltergeist-themed haunted house promises to “transport guests into nightmarish scenes with terrifying characters from the movie,” including elements from the creepy home from the original film which, fans will remember, was built atop an old cemetery, contained a paranormal tv and housed a portal to another ghostly dimension.

Located on the historic Universal backlot, Terror Tram: Enter the Blumhouse will transform the iconic Studio Tour tram for Halloween. Mid-ride, guests will set off on foot to encounter some of the most iconic villains from Blumhouse’s popular horror franchises, including The Grabber from The Black Phone, the possessed from The Exorcist: Believer, the killers from The Purge franchise and M3GAN herself. Guests will encounter a special photo op when disembarking the tram. Those who purchase the R.I.P. Tour upgrade will have an exclusive opportunity to meet select characters featured on Terror Tram.

The Purge: Dangerous Waters stunt show returns to the Universal Hollywood WaterWorld venue. It’s touted to take guests “on a fiery, rocket-fueled adventure while they fight to survive the night.”

Completing this year’s line-up are four scare zones scattered throughout the event. They include a troop of Chainsaw Clownz, a Carnival of Carnage, a dimly lit street that leads to the Noche de Brujas scare zone and the ever-popular Murder of Crowz.

These experiences join previously-announced haunted houses themed to Prime Video’s Fallout, Blumhouse’s Five Nights at Freddy’s, the Terrifier film franchise, WWE Presents: The Horrors of The Wyatt Sicks, Jason Voorhees’ Jason Universe, Scarecrow: Music by Slash and Monstruos 3: The Ghosts of Latin America.

Select theme park attractions open during the event include Super Nintendo World, Jurassic World—The Ride, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Transformers: The Ride-3D, Revenge of the Mummy—The Ride and The Simpsons Ride.

The scares start Thursday, September 4 and continue on select nights through Sunday, November 2.
